He is such a little cutie. You are a good mom. Keep nursing as long as you can. Teething is a challenge hopefully you'll both work through it.

If you go to your diary, up at the top there is friends, then the 3rd one down is Edit Friends. If you click on that it will bring up the page that has your friends have you as friends, scroll to the bottum where you can "remove" you put the check in the box and click remove

So, I looked at your info page after the whole "bitch who doesn't approve of your REALLY GORGEOUS ICON" incident, and it looks like we have a good bit in common. I'd like to add you, if that's alright with you. (and I promise not to get offended by your omgzbewbs)

Hello fellow Ontarian!

Found you through Canadian Moms and decided to friend you, since it looks like we both struggle with weight issues. TOPS rules!

Hope to have a new friend,

Maggie (in St. Catharines, but I have dear friends in both Kitchener AND Waterloo)

I am one of those dear friends!
I live in Kitchener, I am a mom, I tried desperately to breast feed, but baby was brain damaged and unable to latch. She had to have special nipples. I think breastfeedin in public is a fine idea, more mothers should worry less about it. It's NATURAL!

Anyway...please add me!

seroquel
Hi,
Its refreshing to read your post as I have had similar problems on seroquel. I have been on seroquel since may of last year - I did come off it for 6 wks earlier in the year and found I become hypermanic, insomnia returend and I became a bit emotional, tearing and really really anxious.

If you read my journal you will read about my taper off seroquel and how I have as of last week been diagnosed with seroquel induced diabetes type two (I'm devestated).

I am on lamictal at the moment and it is working for me.

I have had two nites without seroquel and so far so good - I think the lamictal is helping. I feel calm and so far no anxiety - but keep your fingers and toes crossed for me on this one.

Seroquel worked for me, it calmed me, settled me, I slept well , but I too work 5 days a week and found I was lathargic and unmotivated and its just so hard to wake up in the morning. The benefits for me do not out weigh the side effects of this medication (but thats for me personally). I put on weight with this medication also (which is devestating for ones self esteem.

I hope things workout for you.

msg me anytime,

cheers,
S

I was on Lamictal but got hives, so not able to due it. yeah I think if I wasn't on seroquel is much worse then me just being so tired in the morning.
How long have you been diagnosed?

Re: seroquel
I was only diagnosed last May. not so long ago. Its been a very steep learning curv. At times I thought they had it wrong, but when i dug deep it all really did make sense. Bipolar escalated for me when I had my daughter almost 12 years ago. what about you, how long ago were you diagnosed

Re: seroquel
Well I have always thought I had it. I even asked my dr when I was around 20-22 and they didnt think it was me.
I was finally diagnosed last nov when I was 31. In Jan I had my 1st hospital stay in a proper hospital. My last one was when I was 21 or 22 and was in a regular hosp. Me having thoughts and self harm wasn't serious enough for the psych ward, and the hospital stay was a complete waste of time.

My whole bipolar has really showed since having my son almost 3 years ago. I am finally stable, 1st time in 4 years.

Re: seroquel
I'm glad that your experiencing stability. I can relate to how the birth of a child can trigger things off. It did big time for me.
